Katherine is an Augustana College graduate with a BA in Political Science, specializing in International Relations. One of Katherine’s most impactful projects examined the correlation between child labor and lack of access to education in Nicaragua, Mexico and Brazil. This academic project inspired her to work in the humanitarian field. Since joining EGF, she has played a key role in community outreach and distributing food and humanitarian aid throughout local communities in Illinois and Texas as well as coordinating relief packages of food and medical supplies to Ukraine, Slovenia, Costa Rica etc.

Katherine said, "I always knew that one day I wanted to make a real impact and positive change in the world by working together. No child should be a victim of hunger or violence. We can’t wait for someone else to make a difference. The difference must start with us. We all have the power to make a change and help each other. That’s why I love this foundation."

Katherine Drapeau is the Secretary of Estrada Global Foundation’s Board of Directors. She is also the Project Coordinator and social media manager for EGF, currently residing in Washington, D.C.
